TopChan.info Server Upgrade

In the next few weeks TopChan.info will be down during midnight hours Eastern Time (USA) 12AM - 3AM for server upgrades and maintenance.

A total of 3 or 4 maintenance windows have been schedules by our hosting company.

  1. 8/4/2012 - Server Hardware Swap: The server will be moved to more powerful host hardware.
  2. 8/31/2012 (DELAYED) - OS Change: Our operating system will be changed from Linux to the more capable and powerful FreeBSD operating system. Yay!. Huge performance increase expected!
  3. TBA - Bandwidth Increase: We'll get bigger pipes.
Soon we will be striking a deal with out hosting facility to offer Chan website hosting as a reasonable cost. Those interested, post in the forums so I can get an idea of the demand.
